Dr. Bhagat, a seasoned meditation expert and an accomplished cancer scientist, is a trained Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and Brown University. Combining 30 years of personal meditation practice with his professional training, he teaches MBSR at Brown University and also trains future MBSR teachers at Mindfulness Northwest. He has also led mindfulness programs at Columbia University, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Cancer Center, and The Brooklyn Hospital, guiding medical professionals, students, and patients.
Now collaborating with Mann Talks, he has created a mindfulness and meditation audio series tailored for Indian users. He firmly believes in the potential of science-based mindfulness practices in reducing stress and increasing well-being and is committed to helping his students create conditions for a happier, more content, and meaningful life.
